The Vaccine-Preventable Disease program is located within the Office of Infectious Disease Services, under the Bureau of Epidemiology and Disease Control. The goals of the program are to routinely monitor vaccine-preventable diseases, prevent their spread, and provide education and other resources to partners and community members. The program works with local health departments, the Arizona Immunization Program Office at ADHS, other state agencies, and federal partners such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in implementing these goals.
